FAQs
What do I need to know before my first class? What do I wear/bring?
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early, so that the instructor can give you a rundown of the reformer. Please wear grip socks to class and byo water bottle.
Are grip socks required?
Yes! Grippy socks are mandatory in all Reformer classes for your safety, health and hygiene. You can either bring your own or purchase a pair at reception.
Will Pilates help me lose weight?
Pilates benefits the body by strengthening, toning and building muscle mass. The increase in muscle mass causes a corresponding increase in metabolic rate, which can aid weight loss (along with cardio supplementation).
Stronger, healthier muscles, will also metabolize fat much more effectively than weak, untrained muscles. Pilates can be a positive addition to an overall weight-loss program.
how big are the classes?
To ensure everyone gets the attention they deserve, we like to keep our classes small, from individual classes to groups of eight. The adaptability of the Pilates method to different levels of fitness and body types has made Pilates an accessible and effective fitness choice for both men and women.
How do I book into class?
Open THREE28.PILATES website. Select your preferred date and time and then click book. We have made it really easy for you to book your classes via our online booking system and our class booking apps on your mobile devices – iPhone, iPad and Android.
Online booking closes 12 hours before the class starts. If you are feeling spontaneous and like to swing by for a class, please give us a call to check on the class availability before making your way to the studio.

class cancellations
We have a limited number of class spots, and there are many who love our classes. So if you cancel at the last minute, that’s a spot that could’ve gone to someone else. We know plans change sometimes and we are happy to accommodate amendments, but we simply ask that you cancel your space 24 hours in advance. Respecting the policy respects our instructors’ time, and allows others to take your spot in the class.
Any cancellations done after 24 hours from the start of the class will be considered a late cancellation and you will be charged for the session.

High Intensity Yet Gentle – Reformer Pilates offers an intense workout that is low impact and gentle and joints. Additionally, our instructors tailor poses to suit every level, making each session inclusive and effective for students of all levels and abilities.
